Heart Rate/Exercise
DT298A
The Exercise Heart Rate sensor is ideal for determining the heart rate of active people by measuring the heart rate before, during and after exercise. The sensor is comprised of a wireless transmitter belt and a receiver module that plugs into fourier's MultiLogPRO or EcoLog XL. Similarly to the EKG, the Exercise Heart Rate Sensor, specifically the transmitter belt, senses the electrical signals generated by the heart. Every heart beat sends an electrical signal to the receiver module, enabling the heart rate to be determined.

The sensor is supplied with a storage shorting cap. The probe is warranted for 12-months to be free from manufacturing defects and to meet specifications. Improper storage without the shorting cap voids the warranty. These probes have been known to last for years with proper storage and use of the shorting cap.

Turbidity
DT095
Turbidity is a measure of the cloudiness of water - the cloudier the water, the greater the turbidity. Turbidity in water is caused by suspended matter. This matter will deflect (or scatter) light as it passes through the sample. Turbidity is a measurement of the scattered light as compared to the amount of light scattered by a standard.
